Transmitiendo nuestra ilusión y trabajo en la radio local | Broadcasting our enthusiasm and work on local radio

Ayer pisamos por primera vez en nuestra vida un estudio de radio: ACL Radio. Fuimos al estudio de grabación, que se sitúa en la Diputación de Almería . Cuatro componentes de nuestro equipo nos acercamos después de clase allí. La verdad es que fue una experiencia inolvidable. 

Antes de grabar la entrevista de radio, tanto Teresa, una de las representantes de Europe Direct, como Pepe, el locutor de radio de la programación Europea, nos hicieron unas preguntas acerca de nuestra iniciativa y nuestra motivación a la hora de participar en el concurso, así como las actividades que hemos realizado.

Cuando ya estábamos  grabando, la entrevista se desarrolló de forma cronológica, ya que comenzamos hablando de nuestro comienzo en el concurso el año pasado y nuestra historia como equipo hasta llegar a hoy día. Se interesaron por nuestros objetivos y nuestra forma de transmitir todo el trabajo y entusiasmo a la hora de motivar a la gente que nos rodea. Para poder explicar mejor nuestro proyecto, hablamos un poco algunas de nuestras secciones en el blog.

Realmente nos ha sorprendido gratamente la idea de que un grupo de personas desconocidas para nosotros hasta ahora estén tan interesadas en nuestra iniciativa, ya que nos hace sentir más orgullosos y satisfechos de nuestro trabajo como equipo. La entrevista duró alrededor de media hora y podréis escucharla mañana día 9 de mayo sobre las 11:30 de la mañana sintonizando en Almería, 107.1¡Os esperamos! De todas formas,para quien no pueda escucharla, subiremos el audio cuando nos lo proporcione la ACL Radio.

                                     

                                              

Yesterday we stand on a radio studio for the first time in our lives: ACL Radio. We went to the recording studio which is in the Deputation of Almería. Four components of our team got there after school. The truth is that it was an unforgettable experience.

Before recording the radio interview, both Teresa, one of the representatives of Europe Direct, as Pepe, radio host of European programming, made ​​us some questions about our initiative and our motivation for participating in the contest as well as the activities we have done.

When we were recording, the interview was conducted in a chronological way because we started talking about our start in the competition last year and our history as a team to reach today. They asked about our goals and our way of transmitting all the work and enthusiasm when it comes to motivating people around us. To better explain our project, we talked a little bit about some sections of the blog.

Actually, we were pleasantly surprised by the idea that a group of people unknown to us so far are so interested in our initiative because it makes us feel proud and satisfied with our work as a team. The interview lasted about half an hour and you can hear tomorrow, on May 9 11:30 am tuned in Almeria, 107.1 We will wait for you! Anyway, for those who can not hear it, we will publish the audio when ACL Radio provide it to us.

Europa bajo un mismo cielo

Para finalizar con los alumnos de infantil, vamos a mostrar el trabajo realizado por los alumnos de 3 años. Colorearon estrellas, símbolo principal de nuestra bandera.
To conclude infantil students, we will show the work done by students in three years. They colored stars, the main symbol of our flag.

Hemos unido las estrellas de los alumnos de 3 años con los monigotes de los alumnos de 4 para pegarlos en un gran mural bajo el lema "Europa bajo un mismo cielo". Los monigotes aparecen cogidos de la mano, y sobre ellos se encuentran las estrellas.
We have joined the stars of the students in three years with the puppets of pupils aged 4 to paste in a large mural on the theme "Europe under heaven". The puppets are holding hands, and on them are found the stars ..

Aportando nuestro granito de arena por un mundo más solidario | Contributing our bit for a more solidary world

La Unión Europea promueve continuamente actividades de voluntariado con el objetivo de que todos los ciudadanos tengan sus necesidades básicas cubiertas; así como la cooperación entre todos. Nuestro colegio, que siempre ha estado muy preocupado en transmitirnos los valores de solidaridad y tender la mano, también nos ha ido introduciendo en todo tipo de actividades de voluntariado.

En relación a esto, nosotros hemos querido organizar una recogida de alimentos a nivel de todo el colegio donde lo obtenido irá destinado a Cáritas y a diversas parroquias de Almería. También hemos realizado una cadena humana donde nos hemos pasado los alimentos simbolizando que si todos cooperamos, aunque sea sólo un poco, ya estamos ayudando a crear un mundo más justo y solidario.

Aquí podéis ver algunas fotos de la cadena y toda la comida obtenida. Agradecer a todo el colegio por cooperar trayendo alimentos así como nuestros profesores por apoyarnos a la hora de llevar a cabo la tarea.



The European Union encourages volunteering activities continuously with the aim that all citizens have their basic needs met, as well as cooperation among all. Our school, which has always been very concerned to transmit the values ​​of solidarity and lend a hand, also has been introduced in all types of volunteering activities.

In relation to this, we have wanted to organize a food collection at school level where everything obtained will go to Caritas and various parishes in Almería. We have also made a human chain where we have passed the foods symbolizing that if all cooperate, if only a little, we are helping to create a more just and united world.

Here you can see some pictures of the whole food chain obtained. To thank the entire school to cooperate bringing food and our teachers for supporting us in carrying out the task.

El mundo según la pequeña Europa | The World according to the little Europe

Como ya mencionamos anteriormente, a los alumnos de 5 años les hablamos de la labor que realiza la Unión Europea por el medio ambiente y les contamos un cuento de hadas:
As we mentioned earlier, students from five years we spoke of the work of the European Union for the environment and tell them a fairy tale:

Vivimos en un mundo sano y tranquilo donde las hadas de la naturaleza hacen bien su trabajo, hasta que un día llega Darkone, la contaminación, a intentar acabar con el mundo. Paco, un chico humano, y Aria, un hada de la naturaleza, se unen para acabar con Darkone y salvar al mundo.
We live in a healthy and peaceful world where fairies of nature do their job well, until one day Darkone, the pollution, comes to try to end the world. Paco a human boy, and Aria, a fairy of nature unite to end Darkone and save the world.

El objetivo de esta historia es hacer entender a los más pequeños que si nosotros, los humanos, nos unimos con la naturaleza y convivimos juntos, podemos crear un mundo mejor.
The purpose of this story is that the smallest understand that if we, as humans, are united with nature and lived together, we can create a better world.

La Unión Europea en Primaria | The European Union in Primary

Fuimos a las clases de Primaria a explicar la Unión Europea. Sin embargo, explicarla directamente a niños muy pequeños es bastante complicado, por lo que a los niños entre 6 y 8 años decidimos leerles un cuento titulado "Matías y Amadou: Un despertar a la cooperación y al desarrollo". Nos centramos en la labor que realiza la Unión Europea en los países subdesarrollados, especialmente en el continente africano, porque parece que están lejos, pero están más cerca de lo que pensamos.
We went to Primary classes to explain the European Union. However, to explain to very young children is quite complicated, so that children between 6 and 8 years we decided to read a story entitled "Mathias and Amadou: An awakening to cooperation and development". We focus on the work of the European Union in developing countries, especially in Africa, because it seems that they are far away, but they are closer than we think.

Cuando llegamos a la parte en la que descubrimos que la escuela de Amadou está construida con fondos de la Unión Europea, explicamos brevemente que ésta se fundó con el objetivo de evitar guerras tan destructivas como las dos guerras mundiales y les dijimos cuáles son los 6 países fundadores y alguna curiosidad sobre ellos. Esta es la presentación que expusimos en los tres primeros cursos de Primaria.
When we got to the part where we discover that Amadou school is built with funding from the European Union, we explained briefly that it was founded with the goal of avoiding wars as destructive as the two world wars and we told them which are the 6 countries founders and some curiosities about them. This is the presentation we made in the first three years of primary education.





Con los niños entre 9 y 11 años fue mucho más sencillo. También les explicamos brevemente el motivo por el que se fundó esta unión, siempre haciendo referencia al padre fundador Robert Schuman. Dibujamos pequeñas banderas de todos los países y le dimos una a cada alumno. Nombrábamos los países por orden de admisión preguntando a los alumnos qué sabían sobre ellos y contándoles algunas curiosidades. El objetivo de esta actividad es el enriquecimiento del alumno por el país que le ha tocado, ya que mostrará más atención cuando hablemos de su país. Esta es la presentación que expusimos en los tres últimos cursos de primaria:
With children between 9 and 11 years it was much easier. We also explain briefly why this union was founded, always referring to the founding father Robert Schuman.
