Mini Olimpiadas | Mini-Olympics

Tal y como adelantamos en nuestro proyecto, con motivo del día de Europa realizamos a lo largo de esta semana unas "Mini Olimpiadas", enfocadas para los alumnos de Bachillerato y ESO que quisieran apuntarse.
As we said before in our project, the occasion of the Europe Day we have performed this week a "Mini Olympics", focused on high school and ESO students who wanted to join.

Las Olimpiadas consistían en formar equipos representando a diferentes países de Europa y participando en la modalidad que ellos quisieran: hockey, fútbol, voleibol, rugby y tenis de mesa.
The Olympics consisted of making teams representing different countries in Europe and participated in the modality they wanted: hockey, football, volleyball, rugby and ping pong.

Han escogido países tales como Alemania, Polonia, España, Francia, Italia, Grecia, Gran Bretaña, Bulgaria, etc. 
They have chosen countries such as Germany, Poland, Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Britain, Bulgaria, etc.

La entrega de premios se realizará mañana en el recreo antes del acto del día de Europa, que recordarnos comenzará a las 12.30 en el patio del colegio. Os esperamos a todos no faltéis.

The awards ceremony will take place tomorrow in the freetime before Europe Day event, which remind us it starts at 12:30 in the school playground. I hope everyone do not miss it.

Animando a los más pequeños | Livening the youngest students

Antes de terminar este día 9 de mayo, no hemos querido olvidarnos de celebrar este día tan especial haciendo felices a los más pequeños del colegio.
Before the end of the day, we did not want to finish it without celebrating such special day making happy to the youngest pupils from this school.


Compañeros nuestros se han disfrazado y han aprovechado el recreo para pasearse portando la bandera de la Unión Europea por los diferentes patios recordando a todos los alumnos que hoy es el día de Europa.
Our schoolmades have disguised and have used their playtime to carry European flag and to show it in our various  playgrounds, reminding all students that today is the Europe day.

Todos ellos estaban muy ilusionados al ver aparecer a esos personajes que parecían extraídos de un cuento, así como por la futura celebración de mañana. Algunos, en cambio, se han asustado al verlos. Ha causado un gran impacto ya que nunca habíamos celebrado el Día de Europa en el colegio.
They all got very excited to see these characters appear that seemed taken from a tale, and for the future celebration tomorrow. Some, however, have been afraid to see. It has caused ​​a big impact as we had never celebrated Europe Day at school.

Ampliando nuestras fronteras | Beyond our frontiers

Ayer, día 8 de mayo sobre las nueve de la mañana, nos dispusimos todo el equipo junto con el profesor y coordinador de nuestra iniciativa, Paco Rodríguez, y el director del colegio, Pedro Mena, a ir al Hotel Tryp Indalo Almería para dar una charla a compañeros de FP de toda la provincia de Almería.
Yesterday, May 8th about nine o'clock, we all went with our initiative professor and coordinator , Paco Rodriguez, and the director of the school, Pedro Mena, to Hotel Tryp Indalo Almeria for giving a talk to fellow FP of the province of Almería.

Nos encontrábamos ante más de de 150 alumnos de FP. Les comentamos sobre qué iba nuestro proyecto y todo lo que llevamos hasta ahora. Nos íbamos apoyando en el blog para enseñar todo nuestro trabajo. Por desgracia, hubo problemas técnicos para enseñar los vídeos que hemos ido subiendo; pero conseguimos salir airosas.
We talked to more than 150 students from FP. We told them what was our project and everything we had have done so far. We were using the blog at the same time to show them all our work. Unfortunately, there were technical problems to teach the videos that we had uploaded, but we got out fig.

Agradecer al equipo de Europe Direct todo su apoyo y por darnos la oportunidad de darnos a conocer entre la gente joven más allá de nuestro ámbito escolar.
We want to thank the team of Europe Direct for all their support and for the opportunity to make ourselves known among young people beyond our school environment.

¡Feliz Día de Europa! | ¡Happy Europe Day!

Hoy es 9 de Mayo, Día de Europa, cuando celebramos más que nunca nuestra unión y conmemoramos la figura de Robert Schuman, padre fundador de la Unión Europa. Mañana celebraremos este día a lo grande en el colegio.
Today is May 9, Europe Day, when we celebrate our union more than ever and commemorate the figure of Robert Schuman, a founding father of the European Union. Tomorrow we will celebrate this day in a great way at school.


Ya estamos ultimando detalles. Hoy hemos hecho el ensayo general con los alumnos que formarán parte del contorno del mapa de Europa.
